Protein Without Eating Chicken and Broccoli Forever

Protein is important for maintaining and building body tissues, including muscle.

Protein is important for maintaining and building body tissues, including muscle.

But “eat more protein” somehow became “eat chicken breast until you resent chickens.”

You have options.

Meat.

Poultry.

Fish.

Eggs.

Dairy.

Beans.

Lentils.

Peas.

Soy foods.

Nuts.

Seeds.

Different cultures already contain protein-rich meals.

Fitness does not need to erase them.

A useful habit is simply to ask:

Where is the protein in this meal?

Breakfast might include eggs, yogurt, soy foods, milk, or another option.

Lunch might use chicken, fish, beans, tofu, lentils, or leftovers.

Dinner might use beef, seafood, beans, turkey, tempeh, eggs, or another food.

Vegetarian and vegan diets can also include varied protein sources such as beans, lentils, nuts, seeds, and soy foods.

A paid meal plan can determine how much fits your individual needs.

The free lesson is simpler:

Protein is a category.

Not a single food.

Your next step

Build meals around foods you actually like enough to keep eating.
